A Gm blues in which I'm doing my best to stay away from the pentatonic scales...

I do probably have too many(*), although this is my only archtop so hopefully it's justified. It's the biggest guitar I own - 17". An Aria FA71. The same model as played by the magnificent Jim Mullen. (*) Eleven Smoooooooth! Keith Thanks, Keith!

Continuing the theme (or rather, continuing to practice the same ideas), this time on Blue Bossa. I'm sounding a bit too mellow for my liking here. I'll be going all easy-listening if I'm not careful!

I agree. The first one was better BUT that’s probably a shared aversion to easy listening. I actually love both of them.

Nice! Using CAGED system rather than scale boxes to navigate the fretboard? I couldn't be doing with those 5 penta box shapes....I stuck with learning major...harmonic minor and melodic minor scales up and down the fretboard. It's a great way to find and play chords and triads.
