This could be a fairly long story - but who has the time for that, eh? Some of you may remember that davewhite made a crossover nylon string guitar for Steve Tilston. Steve has used it in both live performances and recordings. But Steve is, primarily, a steel string player (his guitar of choice is currently a custom Brook) so Dave made him a steel string version - Bogha Fada Cruach. When I visited Mr T a coupe of months ago, he mentioned that the binding on the steel string was coming loose and, as Dave was coming up to watch the footy with me at Anfield a few days later, I offered to take it so that Dave could fettle what needed to be fettled. Steve then made an inexplicable admission: "To be honest, I've too many guitars and I'll probably not use this much so you can have it if you want." Of course, I wanted. I checked with Dave that he was happy for me to have it (he was and, as he said, it was Steve's to give away) so he took it home with him to do what needed to be done. Yesterday was the last game of the season, and Klopp's final game in charge of Liverpool and circumstances arranged themselves such that I could offer Dave a spare ticket. Delightfully, he'd just finished the required luthiery and brought BFC with him Top: Caucasian Spruce, asymmetric body shape with soft cutaway Back and sides: Figured English Walnut Headstock: Slotted, Brazilian Rosewood with Black/Pear/Black veneers on back and front and a lethal point should anyone piss me off and a soundhole, obviously. She is called 'Tilly' after her original owner - and sounds quite lovely

Is this not the perfect sentence?
Fab instrument, well done all concerned.

Great story and superb guitar. It's like a slightly surreal work of art. Congrats Leo.

Great story! Looks I'm going to have to brush up on my guitar building skills to increase my chances of gaining entry to such hallowed ground. 'brush up' = learn from scratch 'Hallowed ground' = Anfield....obviously

Well done, Leo. Just what you needed; another guitar. Word on the street is that Leo has just commissioned a structural survey of the "guitar wall" in his house.... Keith
