OK, not guitar, but still an acoustic instrument with a soundboard.
If you are in anyway depressed or down, just watch this performance and it'll brighten your day. Especially in the second tune "Da New Rigged Ship", I don't think I've ever seen performers enjoying the very process of making music more than this. I first booked her to play at our club in 1985 as an 18 year old, since then she has produced probably the finest canon of traditional English music available, still our finest musician.
I was a little distracted by 'Roger Federer' playing the cello!

Absolute bliss! Really like everything she does but especially love it when she and her brother play together. Thanks Colin - just what I needed!

Truly joyful. How I wish I had been there to experience it live. Thanks Colin for this blast of light on an otherwise gloomy day.

I've seen her live on probably more than a dozen occasions over the years, the highlight of which was the Cecil Sharpe House performance of Northumbrian Voices. Truly memorable.

My gob has been smacked... and glad to see Roger is keeping himself busy. Always been good with a stringed instrument

Northumbrian Voices is a wonderful show - how fab to see at at CSH. We were due to see NV locally a few years ago, but it had to be cancelled, at a few days notice, because of a problem at the venue. Full marks to Kathryn and her team because they managed to rebook at a different venue for the same date and time, keeping everyone up to date by email. The new venue was actually more convenient for us, and being an indoor livestock market, was pretty appropriate for a rural production etc - her dad seemed especially chuffed! Keith

She’s touring at the moment and I think I’m seeing her at the end of the month - my wife’s just sent me an invitation*
*that does sound very formal but:
a. She’s at her mother’s at the moment (I’m PNG there)
b. Sending invitations makes sure I don’t double or treble book myself
