Wow - result! Yes, I’m pleased with how it’s turning out and surprised at how quickly I’m getting results. Hopefully a couple more days will do it. Knowing my luck I’ll leave it out too long and will have to replace the pickguard to get the rest of the top to match. It’ll end up like the episode of Friends where Ross goes to the spray tan booth.

Is your profile pic ^ Joe Cocker? It was based on Tilly the Telecaster toting terror. Here she is in her reading glasses . Our dog, a cocker/lurcher cross, hates me playing anything. And he takes up all our time.So I've not been able to play guitar since about march

When she hears me tuning she’ll come and sit next to me.

Looks like you're doing well Onechord. I'm the opposite (always was). I loves my pickguards and have recently bought three for my size 0 and my two 00s.
However, I don't care for the like term "pickguard" for these as no-one worth their salt as an acoustic guitarist would ever hit the top with thier ... plectrum. When I was a lad (before the war ... Boer war) they were called "scratch plates!"

After a brief hiatus whilst I was on holiday it had another day in the sun yesterday The pale area is still slightly noticeable from certain angles and depending on the light but I’m pleased with progress some posts online suggested it could take years and would never go away. Think I’ll give up on the tanning régime now and just play it.
