Phil Davidson, the mandolin maker, also builds very nice guitars.

Of the younger generation Jamie Swannell also builds very nice instruments. Not quite a triple O, but this double O looks nice:

Richard Meydrick would probably be my choice as he was trained by Dave King.

As it happens I was successful at auction today for a Ziricote Dave King 000 Katrina for a lot less than it should have been.

If I Sell my Taran I might still think of a Bown or a Meydrick but very happy with the King as he no longer builds and I love the King I own.
