I've always fancied having a go at building an instrument, but never found anywhere that was (a) not miles away or in another country, and (b) didn't cost the earth. But Brighton is only an hour or so away, cost looks reasonable, so now all I have to do is find the time (and persuade Mrs.T that it's a good idea)

I haven't used Brian Hayward since he closed his retail guitar shop in Winchester, but I did use him several times before that and he was brilliant. Here's his website for his workshop which is still in Winchester

Peter He is Dave Walsh - Eternal Guitars, Good bloke. He makes relic'ed solid electrics and pick ups, so not my kinda stuff, but has done me a lot of favours. He can no longer repairs /set ups as his bread and butter is guitar building.
