I had my lent-for-over-a-decade Tacoma come back last year, and just recently got another long-term loaner back, this time from Middle Son.
This is an OM by Pete Howlett from North Wales. He's been building for years, but nowadays only does ukuleles, and this is one of the very few steel-string instruments he made early in his building career.
I got it, years ago, dead cheap and very second hand off eBay during a phase where I was buying acoustics from lesser-known British makers. It's not bad at all, rather beaten up but with a lovely sound that I can only describe as "piano like". The big problem is that the back has several significant cracks; I've never seen so many cleats inside one guitar, but they've been stable for the last 10 years or so (and the offspring didn't manage to destroy it, so it must be OK).
Now I just need Oldest Son to give back the Gurian that he's had for about 15 years, but I'm not holding my breath.

Nice. I didn't know he'd made guitars!

Nice. I didn't know he'd made guitars! I owned a parlour guitar made by him for many years - toured Europe with it in the 90s! It had a case we called the 'coffin'! He worked with Tony Revell and made guitars with him for a period in the early 90s. Great builder, it was a quality instrument. Jonny

I don't think he liked making guitars very much, or at least, not mine. It's not an encouraging sign when you tell a luthier you have one of his instruments, and his response is "Oh God, not that one"!
And Tony Revell - I have a tiny, uke size steel string by him, now with middle son in the US. I'll see if I can get a picture or two.
