Following on from my recent cataloguing of my Doc Watson collection and my post of his version of Little Sadie, I have been on a Little Sadie hunt, tracking down some of the versions of this song. I knew of Hedy West and her music back in the 60s, and found this version by her from one of Pete Seeger's shows.
Her banjo frailing technique is probably one of the best and seemingly effortless ones you'll ever see. The notes just seem to happen, those of you that have tried will know how good this is.

I've heard of Hedy West and she's nowhere near one of the best musicians I have ever heard of.Sorry.So many great traditional banjo players. I could reel of the names of dozens who are far far better.Do some digging and you will find also.

I know nothing about this realm, if you can post up some others please do. Or send me a PM if that works better.
