Saw this book on trees with a difference in the charity shop. Had to have it. What makes it stand out... Some of the wood types I'd never heard of!

For your next assignment, you need to get one guitar in each wood variety.

For your next assignment, you need to get one guitar in each wood variety. Ha, no chance.

It's amazing what you can find in a charity shop. A charity book shop no less. It is all books, over two buildings. Most books are three for £2

Oxfam bookshops are dangerous enough, but my wife is worried that one day I'll find a charity shop that just does musical instruments. Although if she finds it first, it could be dangerous for me!

I love a charity book shop. I always come back with recipe books. I found a book called the history of three chords once. I’d have bought that one of yours as well.

I've also discovered a section in our local Oxfam that's all sheet music! Might have to keep an eye on that for guitar pieces

When Trevor Moyle was closing down TAMCO (The Acoustic Music Co.) in Brighton he gave me a wooden plaque with samples of many rare tonewoods. Its in my workshop somewhere, but I think the labels fell off.
