We saw Wayward Jane at Kirkcaldy Acoustic Music Club last night. They play "a modern, transatlantic interpretation of American folk and Old Time traditions, blending roots music with fresh arrangements and original compositions". They're fabulous: my favourite kind of music, performed to perfection by lovely people. Nice instruments too: two Fyldes, a Martin and an Enoch Dobson banjo (.I didn't attempt to identify the fiddle or double bass...) Highly recommended.    |

Obviously a great night, Andy. Having checked out your link and listened to some of their stuff I reckon it's my kind of music too - lovely. All that and Fyldes Ariel and Falstaff too!
Looks like a very low ceiling in the venue...?
