H is often used by many continental countries to represent B natural - as in the first line of your song Paul. However, it looks like you're making life difficult for yourself there - you got the key right, but try using a capo (they have it on fret 6 so it is actually in F# as per your post - but put it wherever to suit your voice) and finger the chords in the key of C as they do. Intro - C Em Am F twice Verse - C Em Am F five times C Em G Chorus - C F Am G C F Am G C Other bit - Am G F C twice She doesn't finger the partial barre on her F chord, but leaves the top string open. This makes it v easy. No need to play the open first string at all, but it sounds fine if (as she does) you hit it now and again, making an Fmaj7 chord. I can see the attraction of this one Paul! Looking forward to your version appearing in the Plucky Duck soon. Keith

Thanks Keef as ever bang on the money I would like to play this but it is like Jolene the lyrics are very female led I don't think an old geezer like me would do it any justice although I might re write the lyrics.
She has a glorious voice though such harmonies reminds me of S& G

I'll be your Emmylou and I'll be your June And You'll be my Gram and my Johnny too could be switched to... I'll be your Man In Black and I'll be your Gram And you'll be my June and my Emmylou Given the rhyme scheme and the relative clumsiness of "Johnny too" I suspect that Emmylou originally sat on the second line in an early version.
