Love this tune - it's a nice, mellow, syncopated arrangement, sparsely played. Michael's touch is light and assured, and his timing is perfect. The tone is soft, almost haunting, yet he manages to imbue it with a real driving rhythm.

Love that tune.
Also love the playing of Rob Stenson. He has a right hand technique to kill for. His playing is more "out there" than the traditional clawhammer players, but I love that rather than sticking to playing the standard tunes as you would expect, he improvises on them. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the guys playing.

From what I've heard of Rob, he sure can play, although you're right in that it's a bit different!
He gets a 'twangier' almost sitar-like sound and plays part fretless, all adding to the unusual sound. I really like it.
