And if you are, it's a treat. I'm reading his biography by Patrick Humphries, and right now "Parasite" is playing on this laptop.

Just listened to the rest of it - Tracey Thorn has recorded three of her songs. Works well.
The Patrick Humphries book gives a really good insight in to the folk scene of the late 60s/ early 70s, sadly don't have it any more - but I still have all his music, which I find uplifting (contrary to most).

I've had the album for a while, it's great.
Thanks for the link Jonny.
I love the label, they used to be called Lau Derette or something. The first album they put out by Connie Converse I really love.

Listened to this this morning and the song 'how wild the wind blows' is remarkable IMHO, at least the hairs on the back of my neck thought so ;-) the version by Tracey Thorn is wonderful

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Listening 2 Nov 2013
....I bought this Cd by mistake thinking it was the best of Molly Sugden from Are You Being Served. Boy am I glad I did, it's great.
... there's a joke in there somewhere and I think you all know what it might be ;-)

That'll be Mrs. Slocombe. It took me decades to get that one. Mrs. Slocombe. Say it aloud. :-)
