www.theacousticmusicco.co.uk/vintage-guitars.htmlThe Taylor that has just come in looks absolutely stunning- sinker that is just astonishing, and some of the nicest macassar ebony I've seen. Also a really lovely looking McIllroy which, compared to Lowdens, seems like an absolute bargain! Robbie

McIlroys are nice - I've got the fifth guitar that Dermot made that I may be tempted to sell one day . . . or maybe not

Really good prices for the Taylor and McIlroy too.
I've not played a guitar with Ebony back and sides, has anyone done so? If you have what did you think of it?
TAMCO still have the Taran 12 fretter, which I would have made the trip to Brighton to try if it didn't have 2 1/8" spacing at the saddle (too narrow for my tastes!)

Taylor sinker looks nice Rob ........ Go on you know you want to! It's only £370 more than the Armadillo you were so fond of!

Perhaps I should explain the above post! Over the summer Rob and myself spent a couple of afternoons trying out guitars and window shopping as I was having an acute attack of GAS. While in Oasis we tried one of the Taylor Ltd Editon Granadillo models, it was a great guitar and Rob was so taken with it he threatened to buy it for himself if I didn't, during the conversations that ensued it somehow started to get jokingly referred to as the Armadillo . In the end I decided not to as whilst better than most similar priced Taylors it still had a bit too much of the typical Taylor brightness for my liking.

If I wasn't trying desperately to hang on to my Martin, and the guitar didn't have such a skinny nut, I'd be really interested in that Gurian. They are supposed to be amazing guitars.
