Currently one of my Favorite Artists. Love his songs. Some of his Lyrics and beautifully crafted and vocals are great. I'll post a couple of my Favorites.

Yup. Great stuff. He was in a thread earlier. There are a few versions of 'River...' - well worth checking out.

I had the privilege of spending a week with DS at Sorefingeres some years ago - didn't learn much about songwriting but had a great time. Just being in a small group with DS with little to think about but songwriting and when the next meal/beer would hap[pen was a great stimulus to my songwriting however.

I stopped the car last year when Darrell Scott was on Bob Harris's show doing an acoustic session. I just had to listen. It was awesome. I wish that session (conversation and songs) was available somewhere, it was great. Superb artist!

I met and shook hands with Darrell Scott earlier this year when transatlantic sessions were performing, I really went there to see Tim O'Brien who I am a big fan of, really happy I got to meet Tim but it was great to see Darrell Also!
