Beautiful <sigh> p.s. glad someone else recognises the inherent femininity of their instruments and isn't afraid to anthropomorphise 'em

Looks absolutely stunning Robbie!! Very elegant and the rosette and soundhole binding set it off wonderfully with the matching purfling around the top.
As the others have said - look forward to hearing it!!!
Regards
Phil

Wow! That looks great, definitely my favourite Brook since I saw your 'European' one...
Maybe a Brook will be my next commission!

That's one of the best looking Brook guitars I've ever seen.
Your commission came up top trumps Robbie!

That's one of the best looking Brook guitars I've ever seen. Your commission came up top trumps Robbie! Thanks EWH. I'm sorry that I couldn't work out any transport down such that you could have come as well, but you are more than welcome to come down to Southampton this week and have a play. I had to get down by train and have stayed at my brother's in Plymouth. I will post a review shortly when I have got to know her a bit more, but to say I'm pleased is an understatement. The build has worked out beautifully, and she is already singing like a songbird. The nearest guitar I can sense she sounds like is the road trip Taran. Simon thought she sounded like some of the Sobell's he had heard, which can't be a bad thing! She is an instrument of real beauty, and very flexible too. Even with light gauge strings she responds to low Csus2 tuning wonderfully, producing a wonderful, darker hued sound to my yew Tavy. There is a consistent tone quality across all the strings and on every fret, which I seem to remember was a feature of the Taran. I'm not back home yet so can't post any sound clips. Robbie

Good to hear Robbie!! As Keith says, have good time getting to know it and we look forward to hearing it I'm going through a bad spell where I cant seem to get anything to play and sound right with my Brook - perhaps its the thought of a new one coming? need to go back to basics with some simple tunes perhaps. Look forward to the vid from you Regards Phil

Chin up Phil, remember you're British!
Every time I see the final words of the title of this thread I think of this song (not Maddy's spoken intro though!!)-
DABDAG Tavy? Title for an instrumental arrangement of this old tune Robbie?
Keith
