Well, almost! I moved the bridge southwards quite a bit and its still a little out at the 7th and 12th fret (7th is like a tuning check, 5th fret on a guitar) Sounds a damn site better now but the bridge has left two dents where it was before. And the outer E string snapped on tune up. So now its a 7 string!
Still could do with moving the bridge a smidge, but not today. Sounds better now.

Here's a pic I scratched the pickguard with fine sandpaper in a rotary motion while it was removed for a swirly effect.

I took the guard off and scratched it with a rotary motion using fine sandpaper.
