Just spent a blissful 45 minutes or so listening to markthomson's 'Solway Sunset' CD ... I had the iPod on Shuffle coming back from Stoke and, initially thinking I was being attacked in a scene from Hitchcock's 'The Birds' I soon realised it was 'Geese On The Merse'... For those newer members of this 'ere forum who might be new to Mark's playing/composing the whole album is available for download (as a 'name your price' bargain!) on his bandcamp page: Solway SunsetYou can, of course, see him in the flesh if you come along to HB5 in September For anyone who enjoys acoustic DADGAD fingerstyle at its very, very best you really ought to throw a few quid (or many quids) his way and treat yourself to the download - you'll not be disappointed.

Yes, they're all mine - except Celtic Tigger (bottom right) which is davewhite's ... and I do the dusting - although they all get played fairly regularly so it's not an onerous task ... except the Mandola which is waiting to be "looked at" when I have some spare time/motivation (needs bridge and nut refitting and new strings)
