Whenever I fit new strings, I always feel that I am missing a hand: one to keep the strings taut, one to channel the strings and one to turn the tuner. It is a bit like a buffet where evolution has clearly failed to keep up with the fundamental human requirement to hold a drink, carry a plate and eat, all at the same time, without spilling anything. I though therefore I would try one of these Planet Waves Drill Bit String Winders. I must say that it works brilliantly. With the aid of a small electronic screwdriver, I was able to fit 6 strings in a fraction of my normal time and without any of the usual frustration. Well worth the price of a couple a few pints (or a half, in London). Brian
