Saw the Coen Brothers' excellent latest offering, 'Inside Llewyn Davis', last night. But I had to be the anoraky guitarist type who spotted him using a Shubb capo in one scene...almost 20 years before it was 'invented'! Seems I wasn't the first, though...

Not sure of my facts but back in that era the only capos available were Hamilton (heavy sprung Chrome contraptions and Dunlop elastic bands. Both were pretty awful - I still have one of each ....but I use Shubbs - and have done since - probably, the '80s.
