Thanks for posting these HB - he's a very dynamic player!
The first track had a really cool 'wall of noise' (almost) for the first two minutes which was uexpected, but effective, especially leading into the jangly guitar melody.
It has a hypnotic quality for me and was different and enjoyable.
During 'We Can't Go Home Again' it sounded almost like he was playing two or three tunes linked in a set!
I was kind of expecting him to begin singing too, but the playing was just so compelling.

Yes, William Tyler is quite a special player.
A lot of (younger) guitarists will be googling 'William Tyler Impossible Truth' during the next 6 weeks. It will be interesting to see how new acoustic soundboard posts 'hook up' and rank in google.
With a bit of luck it might draw the forum to the attention of some younger acoustic players, which would be good.
Acousticlife posts did show up prominently in google searches a few years ago, but something went wrong when the software was 'upgraded' to phpBB and posts dropped down to page 170 or so (making it effectively invisible)..
Proboards v4 was very well optimised for google. Hopefully v5 will be too.

I've ordered the vinyl! I've seen Will live about five times , 4 playing guitar with Lambchop and once playing lead for Kort. He's equally at home on acoustic or with his telecaster.
