Last week in my advert in the classified section I mentioned that I was considering a new electric . I had to scour the country to find one as everywhere seems to be sold out but just when I'd given up hope I found one on Reidys website and after a call to a superbly help full chap it was ordered . The guitar is basically a super Strat with a bucker and two singles and a Floyd rose trem and double cut Fender shape (these are owned and made by Fender) its snow white with a rosewood board , strat style headstock and black hardware , a real rock machine . I've been a huge fan of Iron Maiden since the early 80s so to get one of my fave guitarists of all time signature model is great . When it arrived earlier than scheduled the set up was shocking , tarnished frets rusty strings and g ,b , and e strings were hitting every fret . After about an hour with fret polish , Dr Ducks axe wax and Allen keys hey presto all is well . I've put 10s on it as I prefer them to gague 9s and I'm a dab hand at setting up these types of instruments. It sounds superb through my Orange 20r amp and adding my Zoom multi makes it growl like a rottweiler . It came with a stunning gig bag which has more padding in it than Ive ever seen in a bag . I'll post up pics later in the week but I'm very excited about it . My next purchase is going to be the new Black star 40 watt modeling amp and I'll be sorted having acoustic and electric guitars that can cover all bases .

Its my second one and I used to have a Tele type Charvel with Duncan's in it that was really easy to play but the reverse headstock did my head in lol . For me they are the best hard rock/metal guitars out there although its a bit weird cause I think if I melted all the frets off the acoustic it would make about one on the new Jackson as they are mahoosive .

Careful you must be, lest the lure of the skinny stringed beast your acoustic fretting finger force should weaken. Above all, your acoustic guitar take up and strongly pick - afraid do not be. Warned you have been! Keith
