I have a wooden soundhole pickup with a little tab-hook around the end of the jack, so that it loops around your strap pin. Pretty much looks like the one here:

I don't like the wire outside of the soundhole, even when I tape it down it seems to be in the way. Can I somehow change that jack for a proper endpin jack and permanently install it in the guitar? If so, is it an easy switch or does it need the skill of someone who knows what they're doing?

This a passive pickup I presume....? Keith

I'm fine with drilling, but not at soldering. I'll sell it and get one with the right jack. It's passive, but sounds pretty good running through the Red Eye preamp. Cheapie Artec wooden thing.
