This young guy really impressed us last November at The Great British Folk Festival held a Butlins, Skegness. His guitar was the best sounding of the whole festival IMO - a close second to Jim Moray with another Atkin. Incredible voice Phil

Oh my.....what a heart breaking song. Beautifully shot video, and as you said what a voice! He reminds me a little of Seth Lakeman, but with a voice 10 times better!!
Thanks so much for posting Phil,
Robbie

Saw Luke at a local club a month or so back. Extraordinary sort and brilliant songs. He's worth watching live!

He gets a lot of praise (and quite a few plays) on the Mike Harding Folk Show - a cracking voice indeed.
However, anybody that wears a formal shirt buttoned to the neck and doesn't wear a tie is probably an eejit. It's either leave the top button undone or put a tie on. One or the other.

I agree. Otherwise his chest looks too tall.

However, it is so difficult to be rebellious in one's attire these days...

Incredible voice Phil Phil ive seen him twice , the first supporting Martyn Joseph (hes signed to Martyns label) Then Last year in a pub near the Clutha bar . Ive been singing his praises for ages , he is superb . His second album isnt long out Fumes and faith and his first album More than boys is amazing .

Enjoyed Luke more than MJ as well - I found MJ to have too much thrashy strummage for my liking Phil
