I thought I'd post a few pictures of an Oxwich Parlour guitar I'm in the process of building, it'll be a 12 fret body join, 24 3/4 scale length and 18 frets. I built a similar guitar last year using native woods where possible, and this one is in a similar vein- not may air miles on this one!
so the woods are
Sitka spruce top
Walnut back and sides
Sycamore neck
Bog oak fingerboard
Oak bindings
There'll be a celtic knotwork rosette in Walnut and sycamoreI'll be using purfling made by Petros guitars over in the USA for a bit of extra woody bling and there'll be an instription etched onto the soundboard... probably

The side is in there somewhere. I should apologise for the untidiness of my workshop in all these pictures, no matter how much I tidy up after myself, the place always looks the same!
The rosette pieces in place, I flooded them with some thin hot glue then put the big weight in the corner on top for good measure just to make sure nothing popped up
Gluing on back braces in the go bar deck, they'll get shaped later
the top, back and sides are just about ready to be glued up, the soundboard braces need shaping still.

This is as far as I've got, I'll put up more pictures as I go. I have a couple of guitars with their lacquer drying to finish, then it'll be full steam ahead with this one
