That GS sounds the business. Glad you're pleased with it. Have to slide down to Glasgow later this year - been nearly four years since I was last in my old town - and I hear there are guitar shops there... Perhaps a wee visit and try one of these chappies. Alasdair. If you do you'll be walking out with one.

Well, I have a Taylor 210 to punt first but I think I could sell myself the 'small guitar for nightshift' argument...
Perhaps a wee look on ebay....
Enjoy yours.

Lovely guitar looks great. Sounds great you playing sounded very good from where I was listening. I was really close to buying a GS mini last time I bought my Faith Mercury HG. I was also really close to buying a Guild 120 at the time too. Really wanted a small body acoustic. In the end I went with Faith as I could try one locally and not the Taylor or Guild. I also decided to sick with a Spruce top too... As a matter of interest how did the Guild and GS mini compare?

The GS Mini has a much more rounded sound though and is much easier to play. The M120 has a more classically mahogany like sound - darker and a bit deeper, but it is a bigger guitar. I think the fact that it has such a heavy gloss finish tightens it up a bit, but it may open up with time. The GS Mini just feels ALIVE. The unbraced back and the bulge in the back allows it to really sing with an authority that belies it's diminutive size. Can you tell that I like it??

Nice playing there, and the guitar sounds wonderful.
I was in GuitarGuitar yesterday and the new acoustic shop/section is crammed with goodies. There's even a closed off section at the back with it's very own thermometer/hygrometer. Sadly it was showing 27 degrees and 36% RH, and it was far too stuffy to sit and play anything, but they did have quite a few GS minis in stock...

It's good because the young kids are too intimidated to ask to play them.

Glad you got the soundclip together 23rd - nice one - the GS does sound rather appealing, no wonder you fell for it! I'm sure you'll have lots of great times together. Keith
