It seemed to take forever, as well as taking all of my time! But it's over, I have finally moved home :-)
For the past few months there has been no playing of the guitar. I vividly remember one occasion feeling like a quick pick, looked at the closed case(es), looked at the mayhem around me, and then thinking "I just cant be bothered". Too much effort to get the guitar out, find anything I might need/want, and a high risk of smacking it into something.
Here I have a "man cave" with room to leave the guitars out. Strangely, I was late for something today as I got a bit carried away. Funny how the "urge" has returned :-)

This is good news Michael - esp re the man cave. I'm in the process of clearing the bottom of our garden for a serious manshed to be erected installed in ten days or so. Never done so much shovelling in my life! Anyway, enjoy your new abode, and looking forward to having you around a bit more again. Keith

Well done Michael - having just moved (two months) I am only now beginning to get close to playing guitar as regularly as I did before the move started.
Regards
Phil

I've done the moving thing within the last 6 months. It does have a dreadful effect on one's playing time. Well done in negotiating the Man Cave. I can't even achieve a Man Drawer!!! Damn hard after over 7 years of living alone. But worth it in all sorts of other ways.

Hope your settling into your new home, and glad to hear you're getting back into playing again.
It's great to have somewhere to keep your guitars. I don't know how I'd manage without my lady cave.

Nice to see you back Michael, and with a man cave as well. Good move! It's great to have somewhere to keep your guitars. I don't know how I'd manage without my lady cave.
Over to Keith...

Keith As Neil Young should have sung: "I was thinking that maybe I'd get a shed, Make a place nearby where I could play, Just some where to keep my wide-screen, Play guitar and hide away. A shed. A man needs a shed." Brian
