When I bought my Zoom H2, I remember having to back to the shop as there was no HD Card included. I have a vague memory of using the card from my camera to test out the H2... I've just moved, and managed to lose the connecting cable for my camera (it's probably in a box somewhere), easiest option was to buy a card reader. Connected up the camera using the card reader, lo and behold there are two audio tracks showing on the HD card. "What the hell is that?" I thought. So, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, and Nat King Cole have all recently released previously unheard albums from the archive. Along with the aforementioned artists, I thought I join in From the archives... previously unreleased, and unheard, I present michaelm playing "The Entertainer" (parts 1 & 2 only... the swearing that followed was deemed not suitable for public release!). www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12807654&q=hi&newref=1One of these days, I'll play all 4 parts without tripping up at a (slightly) up-beat tempo!

How intriguing to find something you didn't know you had. To think it could have ended up buried in an earthenware jar on a distant hillside, waiting for archaeologists to find it in a few hundred years' time. Hope you do decide to give it another go.

Great to find something forgotten in the archives that bears public scrutiny - anything I find hidden away like that in mine usually needs buried deeper so it can't ever be found again! I have vague recollections of trying ragtime several years back and stronger recollections that it was invariably tricky and of fingers getting tangled and wrong notes littering the landscape. I can identify with your wish for playing all 4 parts up tempo and with no mistakes, and what I hear on the recording makes me sure that it is possible - good luck if you give it another go. Mark

I'm sure I've got an arrangement for solo guitar somewhere. If anyone would like a copy, give me shout.

Good one Michael, nice arrangement too - do you still play it? Keith That's very kind of you It's one of those never ending challenges. The arrangement is from the Steffan Grossman book.
