Had a good night with Dave White and Debbie tonight watching Wizz Jones and John Renbourn in Oxford. Blues mostly - John played his Bown, Wizz an old Epiphone. Some of it was a bit patchy (especially the singing), they're not spring chickens anymore but who cares: two legends. I was hoping to hear more of Renbourn's more delicate Celtic/Renaissance tunes... but what they played was still spectacular - powerful with great presence.

Sounds lovely - Wizz and John are among my favourite players, superb entertainers. Keith

I hadn't heard of them until recently. Wizz does his own arrangement of Girl from the north country. IT's an amazing version of it and would highly advise listening to it.
