Has anyone here either owned or played a Rainsong graphite guitar? If so, how do you rate them? And is it true that they stay in tune far longer than an ordinary wood guitar? I'm not thinking of getting one, just curious to know. Dennis

There's one on eBay in Oxford at the moment, have been tempted to go and have a look as have always been fascinated as to what they would be like

Yes they stay in tune better (once strings have settled in) because there is no movement in the neck or body.

I have played a couple. They are well made guitars and sound as such. I seem to remember that there was nothing offensive about the sound but nothing that really excited me either. They certainly are finer sounding instruments than most of the Ovations I have come across — something different all together. They have a reputation of being goos stage guitars not least because they are so stable.
