Greystones Inn, Sheffield.
Excellent night at the Greystones, nice small intimate venue in 'the backroom'. Pierre played superbly and is really good live. Quite a funny guy really with a good sense of humour. A good array of his stuff for sale, I bought a set of his signature strings.
To top it off, I got to shake his hand after the gig and had a short conversation about string tensions in DADGAD tuning.

Saw him at the Renfrew Ferry in Glasgow about a hundred years ago.
Went on a whim and was blown away.
Glad you enjoyed it.

My better half and I booked tickets to see him as a birthday celebration a couple of years back. The support act was wonderful Aussie singer-songwriter David Ross MacDonald. The day before the show I got an email saying that it was cancelled  Quel dommage. Glad to hear you had a great night windminstrel. Did you get your hand crushed like Hrundi V Bakshi when he met Wyoming Bill Kelso? |

Glad to hear you had a great night windminstrel. Did you get your hand crushed like Hrundi V Bakshi when he met Wyoming Bill Kelso? ......fortunately I have a firm grip when nervous, although admittedly his was not of the 'wet flannel' variety of handshake.  |

PB will come over here to tour Germany and Switzerland in autumn. As soon as the dates are fixed I'll try and get tickets. I've never seen him live yet.

He played to a packed "barn" outside Baltimore earlier this year....courtesy of my friend who went to college with him and arranged it! Super enjoyable - I think he can do anything. I bought his compilation live performance CD signed...
