Hi guys thinking of turning my classical into a electro .Now would a soundhole pickup do the job or would i need a EQ type?

George, the only one I have heard which would be anywhere near reasonable is the LR Baggs Anthem Classical, they are not cheap though and would need to be installed by a pro.
When I performed or recorded I always preferred to just have the guitar miked, though again, for a decent mic, not an inexpensive option.

Hi guys thinking of turning my classical into a electro .Now would a soundhole pickup do the job or would i need a EQ type? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are you just planning to amplify your classical guitar? Or are you trying to make an electric guitar out of it ?

Remember, a magnetic sound-hole pick-up won't work with nylon strings. Cheers Gary
