Hi all... Just a thought - and a thread that I've 'borrowed' from a classical guitar forum site... What pieces of music (maybe not necessarily originally for guitar!) would you really wish to see arranged/published/tabbed out/transcribed for guitar, so that you could learn to play it? This isn't a precursor to a commercial enterprise or offer from me, by the way I was just interested to get other folks' views and 'wish lists', since I've spent most of this year having to laboriously transcribe all the Ralph Towner music I've really wanted to learn, which isn't available anywhere else in print... Maybe this could also turn into a bit of a discussion on the 'art' of transcribing, for those that do it, and some of the techniques we all use..? Rather than start another thread.... Which application do I need to be able to transcribe and print off some music? e.g. let's say I've bought the sheet music for the major scale in C (I haven't!), and want a sheet in G, I know what the notes are but want to be able to print off a sheet nicely laid out on ledger lines. What do I need? Just need to be able to set key/time signature, choose between full and 16th notes, and add the odd accidental.

Linux Wasn't he a character in the Peanuts cartoons? Keith Yes. He was a penguin. (Joke that only works if you're a nerd, and an undiscerning one at that.)

To get back to the original question: I've been looking fo ages now for a fingerstyle arrangement of Tá Mé'Mo Shuí.
I've been trying to do it myself, because it sounds easy. Well, it's not.
