I'm going to invest in a looping pedal but I'm not sure what to get. I have a Boss ME70 pedal which has a 35 second looping facility which I've had loads of fun with but it's basic and if I want to loop anything more than a single instrument it's useless.
I'll probably going to stick with a Boss but can't decide whether to go with the RC30 or go all out and get the RC300. It's nearly twice the price and I'm just not sure if it's worth it.
Does anyone have any experience with these pedals or even recommend something different?

I once had a TC Electronic Ditto which was simple and easy to use, but you may need some more features that its bigger brother offer, the Ditto X2. This also includes some basic functionality bizarrely not present on the original ditto.
On of the best loopers I've seen (which Ararat66 on the forum has) is the Pigtronix Infinity Looper. Has lots of features that you never knew you really needed until you see them in action, including the ability to set up separate loops (for instance for a chorus and a verse). More expensive than anything else, but incredibly well built.

That's where the Boss RC300 is tempting me because you can set up 3 loops to cater for a verse, chorus and middle 8th. You can do some live or pre-loop and save into the memory.
