Interesting link although I'm not sure I'd fully agree with this statement:
"A fan fret guitar that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional is a real design challenge for any guitar maker and can only be achieved by one that has a good eye and skill along with years of experience."
Nice to follow the design and making of an instrument like this one.

Aye, I agree. In particular I have never thought they look aesthetically pleasing and I think it's the bridge mainly. Phil

Cheers, Phil. It's always nice to see an unusual build progress. Not sure how much I like the look of the actual finished guitar, though. I think the woods look very nice, and the inclusion of the red motif is interesting, but I'm not a big fan of offset soundholes, cutaways or the way multiscale angles the bridge. I'm not keen on that scratchplate either
