Interesting link although I'm not sure I'd fully agree with this statement:

"A fan fret guitar that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional is a real design challenge for any guitar maker and can only be achieved by one that has a good eye and skill along with years of experience."

Nice to follow the design and making of an instrument like this one.

Cheers, Phil. It's always nice to see an unusual build progress. Not sure how much I like the look of the actual finished guitar, though. I think the woods look very nice, and the inclusion of the red motif is interesting, but I'm not a big fan of offset soundholes, cutaways or the way multiscale angles the bridge.
I'm not keen on that scratchplate either
