Well after much thought about what size and spec. guitar i wanted, as this will be my only guitar when it is ready. I have sold my J45TV and will sell my 00-15m custom when my hew one is ready, will also sell my Perkins Parlour. I have gone for a Brook Taw in figured mahogany and sitka spruce, with a sunburst finish and rosewood binding. Ebony fingerboard with diamond and dots markings. The nut width is 45mm with 1 1/4 string spacing at the bridge ,same as the Lyn model. I may have a pickguard and pickup fitted but have plenty of time to make my mind up. It came down to the Taw or short scale Tamar which is a small jumbo size, as i don`t do any strumming or very little anymore, i thought i would be to big. I was then thrown a curve ball by the custom deep bodied Taw that `stamper` off the AGF has, some bass on it to say the least. So, the deed is done, just 10 months to wait!! If i do get a wobble about any thing, at least there is time to change it.

Wow, congratulations Steve. The spec you have gone for sounds brilliant. Their sunbursts are unbelievably beautiful. Going to look forward to seeing how this one takes shape, so make sure you get Simon to send you some pics every now and then,
Robbie

It`s a strange feeling being excited about something you have ordered but will not see it for 10 months.A bit like an overdue baby but less painful for the missus!!

Thanks for the replies. I am having a bit of wobble about having a pickguard fitted. I have it down for one, not the the teardrop shape but the longer type that was used on the vintage Gibson L00 model. After seeing the suburst in all it`s glory, i am now having serious doubts You couldn`t make it up could you. I have given myself today to make my mind up, then maye suprise Simon, that i have changed my mind again, blimey he is a patient guy.
