Yeah today I'm finally able to play them without too much pain. This is the piece which may explain why it was difficult. Only 3 hours done out of 11 so still has a fair bit to go.  |

I know it'll end up a work of art and all that, but I really struggle to understand why anyone would deliberately choose to do something so obvious and permanent as that to themselves.  And 14 hours work is a lot of money too. Showing my age I suppose, though I have from time to time sort of fancied a really small, simple, discreet tattoo.... Hope you don't get too much discomfort from it Chris, and that the next sessions will go well and withoput untoward incident. Keith |

It's a big 'un, Chris and no mistake! Very nice work, and I'm sure it'll be fab when complete  I've often wondered about getting a discreet tattoo as well, but I can't decide what to get, which means I don't need one  Unless...... Going back to the beard thread.....hmmm.......   |

Hope you enjoy yer Mandolin scotch I've ended up playing Mandolin in the band and after a couple of years of feeling stressed and out of me depth every time I had to play mando at a gig I am finally starting to really enjoy playing it. I play it like a guitar player though. I had never thought of tuning it differently, so I may try out GDAD  RE tats - I'm thinking about getting one for my 50th, but just a smallish one at the top of my arm. I'm thinking Pictish symbols at the moment  I'm such a wuss that I think I would faint multiple times if I got something as big as you've embarked on. Nice work though! |
