I am crap at most DIY and practical hands-on stuff.
I'd like to be able to do crafts and stuff, but when I get down to it I'm crap.
My art teacher told my parents when I was 12 that it was a waste of time me going to the class and I'd never have any talent for it

I even dread changing strings because I'll probably drop the guitar or bash the headstock, scrape the finish or ping bits of string into my eye
So tonight I decided to take my banjo to bits to clean it and put new strings on.
Took me two hours...was it worth it?
Nope
Before the start - at least it works just now!
The strings are off...the rest should be easy!
Dammit, looks like I need to take the tailpiece off as well...
I can't get the head off completely without removing the neck! Who thought of that brilliant idea??
Back together again - good as new
