Has anyone here had these successfully fitted (London/ Kent)? I think I'd get a decent Lindsay Buckingham feel/sound with my strat through the Yamaha THR5A acoustic amp & headphones, ideal for late night practice of acoustic techniques. Just don't trust myself with the job, nuts/saddles/setup/fret dressing being my limit. I don't like drilling or soldering.
Is there leeway for the fit of these or would a specific Fender be needed etc. I wouldn't want it looking a dog's breakfast.
What would/did it cost, if so (including the pickups themselves)? Only been to a luthier once and also mistakenly trusted a distributor's 'luthier' once and got stitched up both times so I'm a bit anxious about this and couldn't go back to the fella with GN as his initials. Have you alternatively had some do a great job of something similar who you'd swear by?
