Posting this everywhere today... because of this: Vindicated Or Vindictive? It's hard to believe it was 26 years ago.. some nights it still seems like yesterday.

Posting everywhere? - Rightly so Leo. Superb song, superbly performed.
I read (and reread) your blog links too, and I'm pleased to know that at least for some of your personal feelings there is the beginning of an end in sight.
And my thoughts and prayers are, like yours, with those who lost loved ones so unnecessarily that day.
How justice can ever be truly done I don't know....

Such things -and the lessons for us all - must not be forgotten. Morality is so fragile in the face of mendacious self-interest.
i fervently believe that people should be responsible for their actions and that actions should have consequences. The falsification of police records is appalling enough but the falsification of medical records surpasses even that. Betrayal by supposed members of the caring professions warrants full professional investigation.
Justice under the law has many objectives, beyond legitimate retribution. These include showing the strong disapproval of civilised society, protecting the public and deterrence. All these objectives call for further action against all those who abused public trust, their professional responsibilities, their positions of power and influence, and their fellow human beings.
Thanks for making me stop and think about something I thought understood but plainly did not.
Brian
