Saw this article and it made me think: what will instrument making be like in 50 years time, and how much more will our instruments be worth? www.wired.com/2015/08/3dvarius/I want to print myself all the Collings', all the Santa Cruz's, all the Lakewood's, all the Fylde's, all the Gibson L5's, all the Vander's, etc, etc. Oh, and I think I'll have Strad as well - better increase the practice time The cure for GAS and MAS. I believe Gibson have been raided a number of times now that the US has finally woken up to a bit of the old conservation (and gone a bit OTT about it). 50 year old Brazilian rosewood still 'maturing' on the shelves etc. I think in 50 years time, we'll be so short of tonewood EVERYONE will play a ukulele
