This singer-songwriter passed me by in her heyday of the early seventies. The late, much-missed John Peel was an ardent fan and she was on his Dandelion Records label. He also produced some of her records. On a whim, I bought this collection. There is something about her work that really appeals to me: she play guitar very well and writes intriguing lyrics and has a wonderful voice. The CD collection gives a good selection though some of the older BBC recordings are not up to modern standards. A particlur favourite of mine is this song: The CD collection also includes this live concert from France: She stopped recording for many years after going to live in America, which is why she is isn't more well known. She has only relatively recently resurfaced. I am glad to have found her music after all this time. I hope others enjoy it too. Brian

Excellent, Brian! I love her voice - brings back memories of late night John Peel (yes, I miss him a lot too) radio programmes that I listend to on my tiny transistor radio wired into a huge wooden cabinetted TV amp/speaker (rest of telly didn't work - it was my bedside table) to make the sound better. Here she is, more recently, and with another legendary figure tinkling away in the background - Might have to think about that compliation - I sadly have no contemporary LPs of her. But even for all those songs £20 seems a lot though..... Keith

Wow..that is a blast from the past. I have "Ask me no Questions" on a much played vinyl LP from when it was first released. Interesting that her voice is still instantly recognisable in the the more recent vid clip... Good to see she is still performing..
