Oh man. I've just discovered Anderwood. They make wantable Weissenborns in England. Now I've got GAS really badly. Their most basic box has good mojo. Their top model isn't really that expensive. But I've got a guitar coming for Xmas and my birthday isn't until March...

Those look really nice and seem good value, but I think they're just inspected and set up in England, and are probably manufactured abroad. Just thought I'd mention it in case it makes any difference.

They're made in Asia, whatever that means, and finished and set up in England. That's how Gold Tone operate too, in Florida. My Faith Jupiter was "handcrafted" in Indonesia, and my Gretsch 3170 reso was made in Korea. I expect the Clearwater lap steel and Samick 6-string banjo were made in China or somewhere about as distant. My Framus 5/50 was made in Bavaria, but that was 52 years ago. Unless I learn that the workers are badly done to, I'll be happy to own an Anderwood or two some day.
