I thought that you might like to see couple of my mandolins that have recently gone out. This one went to Japan and is one of my “Standard Plus” models; Here are a few choice photos of the mandolin; quilted maple back and side, walnut neck, head overlay and binding, European spruce soundboard. And this one to the Scottish Highlands. This mandolin started out as one of my “Standard” model mandolins but a few upgrades were asked for; the cocobolo, abalone rosette and head inlay and under-saddle transducer. Cheers Gary

Lovely work, Gary. That quilted maple on the standard plus is gorgeous.

Lovely looking instruments, Gary, with some very fine colours in the abalone as well as gorgeous woods.

Absolutely superb Gary. The timbers and the abalone really set each other off. (Mmmm must try harder on mine...)
