Heres a rare bird. This double cutaway white falcon was one of the first to come in to the uk in early 60s. There a few unusual things regarding the age of this guitar. Some of the spec dates it to 63 but the other spec n the serial number date it to 1960. Gretsch were know to be very hit n mess with spec.

Just as well I'm no longer GASsing for electric guitars (particularly semi acoustics) with all these recent pictures from your collection Dave.
The appearance of this picture makes me particularly thankful it's a GAS free zone for me as White Falcons were a pipedream of mine for quite some time. Here's hoping it doesn't trigger off any submerged feelings.
A lovely example you have there and really not showing its age at all.

Should we have a new Board for wacky soft furnishings?

Should we have a new Board for wacky soft furnishings? Well, we've managed OK without one sofa. Keith

Thanks for your kind comments. It's hard to value vintage guitars. But in opinion our guitars are worthless because they aren't for sale, as they are part of my family. My father has owned most if these guitars for many year n has played them as a pro musican. I am aware that that these guitar would be valuable if i was to buy them today. But i don't think we would ever sell them. Regards dave
