The mando/banjo/fiddler from the band and I are going to form a duo to try and get some gigs on nights when the band isn't playing.
He needs a vocal mic and inputs for his 3 instruments - can anyone recommend a cheapish but decent mixer?
Do I need an "analogue" mixer or "powered"?
Thanks for any help!!!

Sounds like fun..! Powered speakers...speakers with a built in amp Powered mixer....mixer with a built in amp If you have either "powered" speakers or are going to feed the output from the mixer into an amplifier with built in speaker...like your Roland ...you don't need a powered mixer. Something like this would do the job... www.thomann.de/gb/yamaha_mg06.htm
