I'm Alex Kirtley, I'm an 18 year old (primarily) blues musician from Whitley Bay, I have been performing since 16 around local pubs and have had the pleasure of playing some large venues, most recently playing the O2 Academy in Newcastle, I have plans to release either an EP or an album in the coming future.
In the next 12 months I hope to release an album of all original material, it has been in the works for a long while, I've just never had the chance to put it into action though that is slowly coming around, also in September of this year I am going to be playing at Bestival on the Isle of Wight, playing several spots along the course of the weekend, additionally, I'm hoping to pass the first part of my music course I am studying at college.
Samhradh will be helpful as I have been long searching for a small bodied guitar as the ideal songwriting and fingerstyle guitar, which I hope I might find in it.
Here are 4 original songs of mine, the first 3 I must apologise for, they were recorded today with the after affects of man plague and a Saturday night out..., so they usually sound a lot better, trust me
, the 4th was recorded a couple of weeks back.
