Tone-wise this sounds on their video like mostly a mid-cut, plus possibly treble boost effect a little reminiscent of Trace Elliot's "shape" button from way back, but more controllable. Decent eq can achieve this fairly simply anyway, even with USTs. But the really good part, and more interesting is the claim to improve the feel and restore something of the natural playing dynamics when using USTs. I guess this is probably mostly a compression based effect, but if it really manages this simply and controllably, they could well be onto something. I think you should test one for us Andrew! Keith

Could be a multi-band compressor. Anyone willing to risk £70 and tell us what its like?

If someone buys my Vintage reso I'll give it a go!
