Their harmonies still make my spine tingle, just as they did when I first heard them. This BBC4 archive footage is almost an hour long, but well worth a watch/listen, especially if you like watching Mary do that hair flick thing...

I remember hearing 'Leaving 'On A Jet Plane' a lot on the Tony Blackburn Radio 1 Breakfast show when I was getting ready for school and really like it - happy days Pity it's not in this vid but Early Morning Rain is a classic too. Phil

A delight. They still raise the hairs on the back of my neck after all these years.
The fashions for men of my youth are so anachronistic now. When public figures no longer wear ties on even formal occasions, it is odd to see so many young men with them. And so little facial hair, with the notable exception of Peter's and Paul's topiary.
Oh the warm glow of nostalgia which, contrary to some opinion, is very much what it used to be, thank goodness.
