Hi folks. So i picked myself up a mic preamp to use with my computer audio interface. The interface already has mic preamps built in, but i want a better sound, so i bought the Golden Age pre73. Now the question is, if i plug my mic into the pre73 and then into my Emu1616's mic point am i running two preamps and will the emu affect the sound of the pre73? Should i plug into line in on the Emu instead? Ta....

You will be fine. That's how you use it.
Mic XLR to Golden Age ( from which mic takes phantom power)
XLR from Golden Age to your interface XLR in. Don't worry about digital ins and outs.
The pre will give you much more headroom and gain. Essentially it will produce a better signal to you interface pre than the mic on its own would. The interface pres will be good, but in this scenario you are not relying for them for gain.
The Golden Age will colour the sound a little, a nice warm classic sound. You will find it makes a big difference to vocals but a subtle one.
Watch for signal peaks. Don't believe this nonsense about driving needles or display into the occasional red. The biggest problem with Pres is people having them far too hot. Do some test recordings at different levels. The Golden Age knobs have nice clunky notches in them. It won't take long to find the right setting. I predict your perfect recording level for your voice and room will be lot lower than your interface would suggest. Just rely on your ears.
They didn't call Golden Age that at random. The GA sound is rather classy and classic.
